The VAULT
The mission of the PNG Film & Television Archives is to collect, digitize, restore and preserve Papua New Guinea’s moving images for posterity.
In the Vault we have PNG’s National Heritage Collection. The oldest film is from the 1900’s and the most recent one is from 2013.
These are all on different formats starting from film, to beta cams, to hi 8s, VHS and now Digital Tapes. Some are completed, edited films, some are trims, film negatives, Masters for our stock footage collection. You can explore the Archives or watch films excerpts using the links below.
We are also taking in old family videos to digitize for free. So contact us.
